The minister emphasized that evacuations are still ongoing in low-lying and vulnerable pockets.

Relief Camps and Ongoing Support

Currently, 122 relief camps are operational across the state, providing temporary shelter to 6,582 displaced residents. These camps are supplying food, water, and medical support to those affected.

Minister Mundian lauded the combined efforts of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the Indian Army, Punjab Police, and NGOs in carrying out relentless rescue and relief missions.
