India’s iconic cricketer, also called Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has given a special team to Rohit Sharma and his team ahead of the thrilling upcoming T20 match against Pakistan.
The leading run-scorer in India vs Pakistan matches across ODIs and Tests, wished for good performance from both teams, even though he had reserved best wishes for Men-In Blue.
Speaking at DP World event Tendulkar said,
‘India versus Pakistan has always been a big match and exhilarating. My first World Cup clash against them was in Australia. The number of WC matches we have played against them are all exciting and have tight finishes, which people have enjoyed. Coming to the T20 WC from 2007 to 2022, all these matches have been tight and exhilarating as well. I would like to wish both of the teams the best of luck, though my best wishes will be slightly more towards India ‘
In addition, the clash between cricket rivals, Tendulkar emphasized, that with exception of certain incidences, the matches have been pretty close and tight.
And who can forget those encounters, when Virat Kohli’s once-in-a-lifetime knock, stole the match from Pakistan in a high-stakes clash in Melbourne two years ago and the electrifying encounter of 2007 T20 world cup and the clash whose outcome was decided by a bowl-out.

Thus, Sachin is right in pointing out this fact, that clash between arch-rivals has always been nail-biting.
In the aftermath of USA v/s Pakistan’s debacle, and the ensuing memes & jabs that followed, Pakistan is undoubtedly feeling cornered. They display their lethal form, when pushed to a corner and you never know when.
In contrast, Indian team is riding on the confidence, following their win against Ireland and the players’ exceptional performance.
As a result, India should be cautious of the potential danger, which Babar Azam and his team can pose and also be wary of the unpredictable New York’s pitch.
Even though, the gulf between two sides have widened in terms of skills and quality, but this gulf can be inconsequential given T20 format’s nature.
