The third meeting of the opposition’s INDIA, or Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance, is scheduled to take place today in Mumbai. At this meeting, 63 representatives from 28 parties will finalize the action plan that will be used to challenge the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha elections.
The Opposition Alliance is also expected to reveal the bloc’s logo at today’s meeting. Senior politicians have already arrived in Mumbai, including Malikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Mamta Banerjee.
Nitish Kumar, the leader of the JD (U) and the chief minister of Bihar, arrives at the meeting location in Mumbai.
Uddhav Thackeray, the former chief minister of Maharashtra, his son Aaditya Thackeray, and other INDIA alliance heavyweights arrive at the meeting location in Mumbai.
The Lok Sabha election coalition strategy and seat distribution in the states will be covered at the meeting. It’s also possible that the INDIA alliance may introduce a new slogan.
The combined opposition met for the first time on June 23 in Patna, Bihar, and for the second time on July 17–18 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
