This morning, the Income Tax department team conducted a raid in Panipat district. The team raided Bal Vikas School in Model Town area and Raj Overseas in the old industrial area of the city. The situation became tense upon the team’s arrival. The team has seized all documents from both the school and the factory.
According to information received, several vehicles with Punjab and Chandigarh registration numbers, carrying the team, arrived in Panipat from Chandigarh this morning. The team simultaneously conducted raids at Bal Vikas School in Model Town and Raj Overseas in the Indira Vihar Colony. It is reported that Panipat is not only famous in the state but also across the country for Raj Woolen. There are also several industries in Panipat, including one in the old industrial area in the Indira Vihar Colony and another in Sector-25. As soon as the team reached the industry in Indira Vihar Colony, all employees were asked to leave, and documents are being scrutinized.”
