Six policemen killed in road accident in Pakistan

As many as six policemen were killed after a car and a truck collided with each other on the Quetta-Karachi national highway in the Wadh area, as per the news report.
On Saturday night, according to Khuzdar SSP Fahad Khoso, the personnel on night, were on their way to Quetta. A truck coming from the opposite side hit the car, killing all six men on the spot and some persons sustained injuries.
“The police personnel were coming home for Eid after attending a course at police training college,” Dawn quoted SSP Khoso saying. He further stated that efforts were underway to retrieve the bodies from the car wreckage, as per the news reported.
Meanwhile, on the same day, two Pakistani police officers were killed and four injured after people, whom the officials called “dacoits”, opened fire at under-construction checkposts in the Punjab province, as per the news reported.
