Four Injured in Fire Caused by Gas Pipeline Leakage in Mumbai

In Mumbai’s Andheri (West) area near the Juhu Oceanus building, a fire broke out due to a suspected gas pipeline leakage, resulting in injuries to four individuals. The incident occurred on Friday, with officials attributing the fire to a possible gas leak in the Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) pipeline.

Upon receiving reports of the fire, MGL personnel swiftly acted to stop the gas leak, while the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) took measures to extinguish the flames. According to a BMC official, all four injured persons suffered minor burns and were promptly admitted to the hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, their conditions are reported as stable.

As of now, further details regarding the incident are awaited as investigations continue into the cause of the gas pipeline leakage and subsequent fire.
