The infectious energy comes from the Iranian track “Jamal Kudu,” which has become a sensation, especially after being featured in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, marking a memorable introduction for Deol’s character, Abrar.
In a candid interview with Bollywood Spy, Bobby Deol shared insights about his iconic entry scene and the amusing inspiration behind the glass-balancing dance. He recalled the trend of people placing glasses on their dogs’ heads and noted the overwhelming response to his outfit, which was also worn by another attendee. He praised director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his excellent taste in music and filmmaking, stating, “He has got a great sense of everything about filmmaking.” Deol revealed that during the choreography, he initially felt unsure of how to approach the dance until he remembered the playful antics from his childhood visits to Punjab. “I remember how we used to get drunk and keep glasses on our heads. It suddenly came to my mind and I did that,” he laughed.
