HYDERABAD Task Force of Hyderabad police busted a major hawala racket operating in the city and arrested four people in connection with the case. The police also recovered cash worth Rs 3.75 crore and two vehicles from them.

The four accused who were arrested in the case are Eshwar dileep Solanki (29), Harish Ram Bhai Patel (35), Ajith Singh (34) and Rathod Kanak Singh Natuba (42), all residents of Banjara hills and natives of Gujarat. “On information, the Task Force intercepted two cars at Banjara hills and found Rs. 3.75 crore in the vehicles. On questioning, the four persons said that they were working for Mumbai-based firm
P Vijay and Co.,” said city police commissioner

Anjani Kumar. As per reports, the company has a branch in Hyderabad and Kumar informed that the accused had come to collect cash and transport it to Solapur in the two vehicles which were caught.

The police have handed over the 4 accused, cash and vehicles to the income Tax authorities for further investigation. Every week crores of hawala money is caught by Hyderabad police but many people are still involved in it. This trend surprises the police as well.
