The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has released the updated merit list for the recruitment of Male and Female Constables (GD) against Advt. No. 4/2020, Cat. No. 1 & 2, to fulfill the additional demand for these positions. Following the Director General of Police’s directive dated 06.02.2024 concerning the requirement for Male and Female Constables (GD), the Haryana Staff Selection Commission has finalized the selection of candidates based on their Roll Numbers. (In ascending order) from the remaining merit list against Advt. No. 4/2020, Cat. No. 1 & 2, in view of the relaxation granted by the state government to lower the merit of the selection list vide its letter dated February 6, 2024.
The candidates should note that due care had been taken in preparing and uploading the result by the HSSC, the possibility of any inadvertent/technical error could not be ruled out. Therefore, the Commission reserved the right to rectify the result in the future, if required.
The result was subject to the outcome of other ongoing court cases, if any. The result was also available on the website of HSSC i.e. www.hssc.gov.in. The candidates selected are advised to report for joining as soon as they get an intimation from the Police department.
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) declared the Haryana Police Constable Result 2022 on June 16, 2022, for the 5500 positions of Male Constable. Initially, HSSC had advertised 7298 vacancies for constables in Haryana Police through Advt 4/2020, which included the withdrawal of the previously advertised 6000 Posts of HP Constable under Advt No 6/2019. Additionally, the newly advertised positions incorporated 698 posts of Female Constable for the Durga Shakti branch.
