Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 series at its “It’s Glowtime” event on September 9. The lineup includes the base iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, all of which are now available for pre-order on the Apple Store and major e-commerce platforms. Though the phones come at a premium price, there are ways to pre-order them at discounted rates. Here’s how you can save on your iPhone 16 purchase.
The IndiaiStore (iStore) website offers a few deals for those pre-ordering the iPhone 16 series. The base model with 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 79,900, but users can get a Rs. 5,000 cashback when using ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, or SBI credit cards. ICICI Bank debit cardholders can also avail this offer.
Additionally, buyers can receive up to Rs. 20,000 in exchange value for older smartphones, with an extra Rs. 6,000 exchange bonus available. For instance, trading in a well-maintained iPhone 13 with 64GB storage can help maximize trade-in value. The same offer applies to the iPhone 16 Plus, while iPhone 16 Pro models offer a Rs. 4,000 cashback with the same exchange benefits.
The Apple Store doesn’t provide cashback on pre-orders, but does offer exchange deals for trading in older devices. According to Gadgets 360, exchanging an iPhone 15 Pro could yield a trade-in value of Rs. 61,500. For other devices, users can visit the website and input their smartphone’s serial number to estimate the trade-in value.
