Devnani postponed the proceedings and called the opposition members to his chamber, addressing their concerns and preparing a Motion of Thanks for their inclusion in the opposition.
Chairman Devnani, recognising the demand for a discussion on the ERSI issue by the opposition, conducted a half-hour discussion in the assembly on Tuesday. Acknowledging Devnani’s decision, both the ruling and opposition members praised it.
They both expressed confidence in Devnani, and the proceedings of the assembly were conducted peacefully. The deadlock in the assembly, which arose from Devnani’s proactive decision, was resolved, and a Motion of Thanks for the Governor’s address was passed in a dignified manner by the dignity of the assembly and the Governor’s speech.
After the passage of the Motion of Thanks on Tuesday, the meeting of the assembly has been postponed until February 8th. Now, this meeting will take place on February 8th at 11 a.m. It is believed that on the same day, the government will present a statement of accounts.
