Mumbai police apprehended a hospital employee accused of attempting to secretly record a medical student while she was bathing at a local college. The incident occurred during a conference at the hospital, where the 27-year-old student later went to her hostel for personal grooming. The adjacent men’s and women’s bathrooms presented an opportunity for the accused, a daily wage worker at the hospital, to climb over the wall and invade the woman’s privacy.
Upon discovering the intrusion, the woman raised an alarm, prompting the perpetrator to flee. Following the incident, she reported the matter to the hospital dean, leading to a police complaint. The accused was identified and subsequently arrested, currently in jail custody as per the senior police inspector.
