Q. When you look back at the year gone by, how has 2020 been for you?

A. 2020 has been an inward journey. It has been an eye-opener.

Q. What was a lockdown learning for you?

A. The one thing I’ve learnt is that nothing is really in your control. Sometimes, one just needs to surrender.

Q. What did you miss the most this year and why?

A. Travelling! Well, because I like taking a break from home.

Q. Professionally, how was the year for you?

A. It was rather slow.

Q. What was the lowest moment for you this year?

A. It was seeing the number of lives we lost to mental health issues.

Q. What was the best moment for you this year?

A. To have found my forever love.

Q. What do you believe will change in the entertainment industry after this year?

A. I think we are now entering, or rather have entered, a space which is more open to newer content

and talent. I believe this is going to be a refreshing change.

Q. How do you see the OTT boom in India? Do you believe the digital medium is here to stay? How will it change things for you?

A. I think it’s great. It is a huge opportunity for fresh talent and it also gives a chance to experiment and explore. The reach is much wider. As an actor, it excites me.

Q. What is your New Year’s resolution?

A. I am not one to keep resolutions at the beginning of the year. I think the day you decide to do

something, just go ahead and do it. It could be today, tomorrow or next month.

Q. What are your hopes as you look forward to 2021?

A. I just hope to see a more kind and compassionate environment moving forward.
