Brad Pitt’s upcoming film ‘F1’ is set to hit theaters on June 27, 2025, with Warner Bros. Pictures handling the release.

On Super Bowl Sunday, the makers unveiled a new trailer, featuring Pitt behind the wheel, as reported by People.

‘F1’ is an American sports action drama directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Ehren Kruger, developed in collaboration with the FIA, Formula One’s governing body. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Lewis Hamilton, Javier Bardem, and Sarah Niles.

Pitt portrays a former Formula One driver who returns to the grid alongside his colleague Joshua Pearce (played by Damson Idris) at APXGP, a fictional team. The film also stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.

‘Snowfall’ star Damson Idris, 33, plays Joshua Pearce, a race car driver for APXGP, whom Pitt’s Sonny Hayes comes out of retirement to mentor. The two eventually become teammates, as per People.

According to Warner Bros., the film was shot “during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport,” People reported.

Joseph Kosinski, the director of Top Gun: Maverick, helms the project and produces it alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman (Jerry Bruckheimer Films), Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner (Plan B Entertainment), and seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, under his Dawn Apollo Films banner.

The first trailer for the film was previously released.

Joining Idris, Condon, and Pitt in the action-packed project are Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.
