Blake Lively Sues Co-Star and Director Justin Baldoni for Sexual Harassment

Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against her ‘It Ends with Us’ co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment. The lawsuit claims Baldoni’s actions caused Lively severe emotional distress, according to TMZ.

Inappropriate Behavior on Set

Lively’s suit outlines multiple allegations against Baldoni during the filming of the movie. She claims Baldoni made inappropriate comments about her weight and discussed sexual topics in front of the cast. Additionally, he allegedly referenced his “pornography addiction” and showed explicit images to Lively and others. She also accuses him of making crude remarks about the genitalia of the cast and crew.

Setting Boundaries

Lively reportedly set clear boundaries during a meeting with Baldoni. She was joined by her husband, Ryan Reynolds. According to the lawsuit, Lively requested that Baldoni stop showing nude videos or images, adding sex scenes outside the approved script, and making comments about her late father. Sony Pictures, the film’s distributor, approved these requests.

Retaliation Claims

Despite her requests, Lively alleges Baldoni launched a “social manipulation” campaign to damage her reputation.

Baldoni’s Attorney Denies Allegations

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has denied the allegations. He called Lively’s claims “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious.” Freedman also accused Lively of being “difficult” on set, claiming she threatened to refuse filming or promotion of the movie, which impacted its release.

So far, Lively, Baldoni, and Sony have not commented on the situation.
