In Himachal Pradesh’s high mountainous regions, snowfall is occurring. In Kothi, 2.5 centimeters of snowfall has been recorded. The popular tourist destination Solangnala in Manali witnessed the first snowfall of the new year. Due to the recent snowfall, the traffic noise from vehicles to Atal Tunnel from Rohtang has been muted. Fresh snowfall is reported in various areas, including Rohtang Pass, Atal Tunnel, Kunzum Pass, Shinkula Pass, and Baralacha Pass. Due to the snowfall, the sound of regular vehicles towards Atal Tunnel remained muted from Friday to Saturday morning.
