“2020 was a game changer for each and every one of us. While it turned life upside down in some ways, it also straightened out a lot. Being in lockdown forced every one of us to take stock of our lives. It made us come face to face, with certain realities that we were better off avoiding. It also gave us a chance to make some constructive changes in our lives… changes, which perhaps would have continued to take a backseat for some more time to come. This book is a result of all of the above – that not only I went through, but saw many others going through as well. Everyone was grappling with existential issues and was looking for some stability and meaning in life”, says Author & Entrepreneur Damini Grover whose book, “THE INTENTIONAL BEING” is all about becoming more aware, purposeful and intentional with ourselves and our lives. The book is currently at display at the ongoing “The World Book Fair 2023”.
Published by the Notion Press, this book aims to help individuals to understand some obvious yet deeprooted concepts, that often become a cause of conflict in our internal space. It highlights the fact, that while we cannot control everything, we can certainly create meaningful shifts within ourselves and in our lives, if we have the intent to do so.
Throughout my journey, I have not only created shifts for my own self but have also witnessed transformations in the lives of my clients. Damini, a Gold Medalist in M.A.

The key ingredient that enables such shifts, transformations or changes to happen is – intent. The truth is that no matter how well-read or well-informed we are, we will only be able to use this knowledge or the skills that we have when we want to. The world’s best advice or suggestion can fall flat if we don’t intend to act on it.
When we are aiming to create or change something, we are bound to encounter speed bumps. We will resist change, we will want to run away from pain, we will face an internal crisis. We will want to strip ourselves off of any discomfort at any given point. But it’s not that easy, is it? Therefore, if we begin to embrace certain hard truths of life then, perhaps, we can let go of some struggles.
“This book will guide you through the fundamental conflicts and enable you to look at your own life more intentionally. The self-reflection exercises at the end will help you to look at certain areas of your life more carefully so that you can make the desired changes”, adds Damini
