As we stepped into Heliconia, we were immediately struck by its sophisticated and contemporary design. One of the standout dishes we had the pleasure of trying was the Avocado and Asparagus Sushi which was a refreshing and vibrant dish that combined finely blended flavours topped with sweet potato crisps. The delicate balance of flavours in their signature Mutton Chops and the texture of the rice accompanying it was truly a delight to the senses. Another memorable dish was the Wild Mushroom Gyoza, a succulent blend of tofu marinated in a sweet and savoury chilli sauce, cream cheese and lots of garlic. All their chicken dishes were perfectly cooked, with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that left a lasting impression.
The drinks selection at Heliconia is equally impressive, with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic alcoholic serves that showcase the creativity and precision of the chefs. The Dassai Sake 45 and their Gin Berry Slider was a delightful explosion of flavours and served as a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to quality and authenticity.
