After the power struggle in the state, an important hearing regarding the eligibility and disqualification of Shiv Sena MLAs is starting from tomorrow before the Assembly Speaker. The Uddhav Thackeray group has planned how to deal with this hearing. Lawyers have been appointed for that. Also, preparations have been made by the MLAs so that the answer of all the MLAs should be the same. It has been suggested that all possible questions should be answered by lawyers.
When Mahavikas Aghadi was in government in the state, Eknath Shinde rebelled and took a different decision with forty MLAs from Shiv Sena. After that, the battle between the two groups is going on in the Supreme Court and the Election Commission. However, the court has directed that the decision of disqualification of the MLAs should be taken by the Legislative Assembly Speaker. Therefore, the matter will be heard before the Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar. The waiting for many days is now over and Narvekar is going to hear the case from tomorrow.
All the MLAs of Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena faction have submitted the lawyer’s letter to the Speaker. In which two pages written answer is also included. On behalf of the Thackeray group, senior Supreme Court lawyer Dev Dutt Kamat and lawyer Asim Sarode are going to present their arguments.
