Following the clashes that erupted in the State’s Nuh district, members of the Rapid Action Force staged a flag march in Gurugram’s Badshahpur early on Wednesday morning. Faridabad, Palwal, and Gurugram, the districts that border Nuh, have increased security following the July 31 conflict between two groups. Mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended in the district, and Section 144 has been put into effect for 48 hours starting at midnight on Monday in Nuh.

On Tuesday, fresh violence was reported from Gurugram in Badshahpur and on Sohna road.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Varun Dahiya (Crime), Gurugram said today, “All schools, colleges and workplaces are functioning normally. There are no restrictions on the movement of traffic. The internet is also operational. I appeal to all to not pay heed to rumours on social media. If anyone wants to report any information, they can reach helpline number ‘112’.”

Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, stated yesterday that he believed there was a “conspiracy” behind the clashes on Monday. A large conspiracy appears to be behind the violence, according to Khattar, who called the incident “unfortunate” and said that clashes broke out in several locations. “This is a regrettable occurrence. During a Yatra that was being planned, some individuals planned to attack Yatris and the police. Numerous locations reported violent incidents. This appears to be the result of a significant conspiracy, said Khattar.

The violence in Nuh district, according to Haryana’s deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala, could have been prevented if the yatra’s organizers had provided the district administration with all pertinent information. Regarding the violent incidents in the state, Chautala, the leader of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), said: “Strict action will be taken against those found responsible.” Five people have died in total, including two home guards who were shot dead during the altercation on Monday in Nuh. Neeraj and Gursevak, the deceased home guards, were working at the Khedali Daula police station.

The Nuh district and its environs have seen a significant police presence. Additionally, a curfew and Section 144 have been implemented in some areas of Nuh. Chief Minister Khattar reported that approximately 44 FIRs had been filed and that 70 people had been arrested. Khattar also urged residents to keep the peace. In Nuh, there are 20 members of the Haryana Police and 16 members of the central forces.
