The government is actively gathering information on the unfilled positions of Group D in Haryana. Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has directed officials from various departments to provide details about the vacant Group D positions in the districts. Additionally, they are instructed to upload this information on the portal within a three-day timeframe. The Chief Secretary issued these directives while meeting with senior department officials in Chandigarh.

Officials from the districts participated in this meeting through video conferencing. The Government has already nominated the Director General of the Human Resources Department as the appointing authority in this matter.

CS Sanjeev Kaushal told that more than 13 thousand posts of Group-D will be recruited by Haryana Staff Selection Commission. These also include 500 posts for various departments, boards and corporations. For this, a demand letter has been sent to the Commission by the departments. There will be a common cadre of these employees, who will be deployed in various departments and districts. The Chief Secretary instructed all the heads of departments and administrative secretaries to ensure that only the demands already sent by the departments to the Commission are sent again. The number of posts sent in the demand letter by the departments should also be the same as before. If the number of posts has increased then it can be revised. This time the name of the post and designation of each district will be specified through the portal developed by HKCL only.

Many senior officials including ACS Anil Malik of Development and Panchayat Department, Principal Secretary of Human Resources Department D. Suresh, Secretary of Revenue and Disaster Management Department Ravi Prakash Gupta, Director General of Higher Education Department Rajiv Ratan were present in the meeting.
