Haryana Congress rift intensifies ahead of Lok Sabha polls. Gurugram seat dispute escalates, with former Finance Minister Captain Ajay Singh Yadav targeting Congress MLA Rao Dan Singh over alleged land dealings. Singh, facing a Rs 12,000 crore case involving his son, seeks to contest from Gurugram, drawing criticism. Captain Yadav asserts opposition to outsiders vying for the seat, suggesting Aftab Ahmed as a potential candidate. Amidst contention, Yadav clarifies his decision not to contest.

Captain Ajay Singh said that I am surprised by the thinking of the in-charge (Deepak Babaria). I spoke to him on the phone. The party is reduced to only 3 people. He is the one running this party. Be it the State Election Committee or the manifesto making committee. Such people were included whom even people in their locality do not know.
On the question of increasing distance with former CM Hooda, the Captain said- My relations with former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda are not bad. It has only been a battle of my thoughts.

Let us tell you that Captain Ajay Singh Yadav had given a big statement 10 days ago also. The Captain had said that he is now feeling suffocated in the party. Actually, the Captain wanted to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Gurugram seat. The last election was also contested from this seat. But, this time he started seeing the challenge in getting the ticket. Captain Ajay Singh was active in elections for a long time.

But, the Captain’s temper became high due to the Election Committee’s application from the leaders contesting the elections and the discussion of Mahendragarh MLA Rao Dan Singh contesting the elections. Captain Ajay made it clear that he will not contest the Lok Sabha elections. People who understand Captain’s politics well are considering the continuous statements made by the Captain as pressure politics.

Because the Captain has already said that he is not going to leave the party. Because they are indebted to Sonia Gandhi. Even if he has to work as a primary member in the party.
Captain Ajay Singh Yadav’s son Chiranjeev Rao is Congress MLA from Rewari. Captain himself has been MLA from Rewari for 6 consecutive terms and has held responsibilities in many big ministries in the state government.
