Harnaaz, who has battled the autoimmune condition Celiac disease, previously faced criticism from trolls regarding her weight gain.
At the Miss Cosmo 2024 event, Harnaaz stole the spotlight during the jury session, accompanied by Miss Universe Vietnam 2021, Nguyễn Huỳnh Kim Duyên. Her stunning gown, designed by Vietnamese designer Lê Thanh Hòa, featured a plunging neckline, off-the-shoulder design, and a daring thigh-high slit.
Sharing a video of her outfit, she captioned it, “Back like I never left darling, Let’s go.” Fans praised her look, commenting, “Our queen is back” and “Her beauty is indescribable.”

The floor-length gown featured intricate 3D wing-like structures on the bust and a body-hugging silhouette that accentuated her figure. The shimmering gold and silver sequins on the tulle fabric contributed to her stunning red carpet appearance. She paired the gown with embellished silver stilettos and minimal jewelry, including a choker necklace and teardrop earrings adorned with yellow and white crystals.

Harnaaz was crowned Miss Universe in 2021, making history by bringing the title back to India after 21 years. She is only the third Indian contestant to achieve this honor, with Andrea Meza of Mexico bestowing the crown upon her.
