It has been four years since Hailey Bieber’s marriage to Justin Bieber, but she claims marriage is challenging.

The creator of “Rhode,” who was just 21 years old when she wed the singer of “Yummy,” opens up about their successes and setbacks in a cover story for Harper’s BAZAAR’s September ICONS issue.

She stated in a magzine, “I just think life is changing all the time… I think a perfect example of that is that over the last six months, both of us have gone through very serious health issues. You have to figure out how to deal with this s—t as it comes, you know? There’s a reason they say ‘for better or for worse.’

The now 25-year-old is referring to the fact that her husband’s face was partially paralysed as a result of being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome earlier this year. Hailey had a little blood clot in her brain months before, which affected her speech.

According to reports, Hailey claims that despite their turbulent relationship last year, she and Justin worked hard to make it work.

“He’s still the person that I want to be rushing back to,” she explained. “I might fly somewhere and go do a job, but I can’t wait to come back and hang out. And I feel like that’s because of the effort that’s been put in on both sides.”

For the uninitiated, the adored couple had dated for a brief period from December 2015 to January 2016 before breaking up. They later reconciled in June 2018 after Justin ended his relationship with singer Selena Gomez, his longtime girlfriend.

Hailey and Justin announced their engagement in July 2018 and their marriage in November 2018. In front of their family and friends, they exchanged vows in 2019.
