Management committees should arrange a shoe house outside the temple for the devotees, stated Assembly Speaker Gupta, who participated in the cleaning of Shiv temple complex in Sector-9 under the Swachh Teerth Abhiyan. The Assembly Speaker, actively responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, initiated a cleanliness campaign in the temple by offering water on the Shivalinga.
Gupta advised that officials of the Temple Management Committee should adhere to this practice and enter the temple only after removing their shoes and slippers, setting an example for others. Additionally, committee officials should raise awareness among the general public to encourage cooperation in maintaining the sanctity of religious places.
