In a question raised by MP Kartikeya Sharma in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, he queried whether the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, which is located along the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway (NH-48), has completed its period for collection
The Road, Transport, and Highways Ministry stated in a written response that “according to the provisions of the concession agreement, the Kherki Daula Toll Plaza, which is located on the NH-48 Delhi-Gurgaon section, has been transferred to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) on 1 March, 2023.
In the following section of the query, Kartikeya Sharma inquired as to whether the government intended to examine the toll plaza’s fee collection.
According to the ministry’s written response, “No, the toll plaza just began operating as a publicly funded plaza with effect from March 1, 2023.”
