Delhi Police reported a short shootout in the capital city that led to the apprehension of a notorious member of the Gogi gang. The individual was wanted in multiple criminal cases and faced non-bailable warrants.
The suspect, a 35-year-old resident of Sawda in Delhi, is facing six charges related to theft, robbery, extortion, and murder.
Authorities stated that Faijan, who also uses aliases such as Nanhe, Kalu, and Goga, had evaded arrest in previous incidents and was being sought in connection with a murder case in Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
A Special Cell established a plan and apprehended the gangster after receiving precise intelligence indicating that he would be traveling on his motorcycle to meet his associates near the Japanese Park.
According to the Special Cell, he was discovered with a motorcycle, three live rounds, and an advanced semi-automatic handgun.
As per police reports, Faijan has been transferred to Dr. BSA Hospital and is undergoing legal procedures.
Police state that further investigation is underway.
