Goa’s Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, during the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, criticized the Rajasthan government, saying that crime and corruption have become so rampant here that the Congress government in Rajasthan has become an ATM for the Congress party. He mentioned that money is being exchanged under the name of transfers, and what’s even more concerning is that now, not only allegations of open bribery are being made, but gold is being recovered from the government department’s locker.
He spoke about the increasing number of crimes in Rajasthan, especially crimes against Dalits and gang rapes. He said, “Alwar has now come to the forefront in Rajasthan, and even the murders of sadhus and priests are happening openly.” He highlighted cases like the murders of Harish Jatav and Yogesh Jatav, where no police action was taken, leading to Harish Jatav’s father taking his own life.
Pramod Sawant accused opposition parties of using different names like ‘Yuvaan Samiti’ for the Youth Congress, which talks about ending Sanatan Dharma. He emphasized that merely changing names won’t bring change unless there is a change in policies and intentions. He stated that there is no change in their intentions and policies. He talked about India’s strong presence in the world, citing India’s role in the G20 summit. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Digital India.
Pramod Sawant highlighted the success of Jan Dhan Yojana in Rajasthan, where more than 3 crore Jan Dhan accounts were opened. He also mentioned the construction of 85 lakh toilets as a significant achievement of the central government.
He stressed the importance of governments presenting their report cards to the people. He mentioned that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh has presented its report card, fulfilling its promises, whereas the Rajasthan government has not fulfilled its promises.
