Go First Airways informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Tuesday that all flights will remain cancelled on 3 and 4 May an official revealed.

In this regard, Go First Airways stated that operations will be canceled due to a lack of engines supplied by a US-based jet engine manufacturer. An official of Go First told the media that  “Go First is facing financial crunch due to non-supply of engines by US-based jet engines manufacturer Pratt and Whitney (P&W) that has forced grounding more than 50 planes.”

On Tuesday, social media was flooded with passenger complaints about the cancellation of their scheduled Go Air flights. Passengers filed complaints with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the DGCA, demanding refunds on their bookings.
