Tarina Patel received the Global Gandhi Awards for social and philanthropic work. Global Gandhi Awards are presented to acknowledge, recognize & reward the exceptional contribution of individuals across all aspects, of the world in their respective fields.

After receiving the award Tarina Patel said, “I was a part of the International Conclave to celebrate 75 years of Indian Independence, held in London, UK.”

The most influential figures in politics, captains of industry, and iconic members of society were part of the conclave.

“I received my award from the Honourable MP Virendra Sharma & Lord Rami Ranger, in the House of Commons.” Patel further added.

“I received the award for my social and philanthropic work. It was an honor and privilege to be in the UK parliament, quite another matter to be recognized and rewarded. A humbling experience,” Patel said.

Meanwhile, there were engagements on the Indo-British bilateral partnership; growth and development opportunities through the UK and India’s strategic relationship, to promote understanding and cooperation between the two great nations.

They also discussed the Sustainable Development Goals. The Indo-European Business Forum and other organizations supported the concave. In the UK Parliament the Global Gandhi Awards were held.

Moreover, Global Gandhi Awards is to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s ideologies, teachings & principles and they promote the teachings of truth, non-violence, peace & equality.

However, they take inspiration from Gandhiji’s thoughts and vision towards Sustainability. The felicitations acknowledge those, making valuable and important social, economic & political transformations in their fields that have a global impact. They were launched as a tribute to commemorate & celebrate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
