Young Thug's long-awaited album UY Scuti was released on digital streaming platforms a few hours ago. The album, which was delayed by a week due to the release of Cardi B's sophomore album "Am I The Drama?", is in the spotlight. In addition to making headlines for its songs, the album has also led to Young Thug's misplaced verse on the album.
Fans and music critics were all looking forward to the release of Young Thug's post-jail album. The rapper, who was picked by the Atlanta police department in 2022 under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act (RICO) for leading the record label Young Stoner Life (YSL). After multiple denied bail requests, years of legal back and forth and social media frenzy, the rapper accepted a plea deal and returned home in October 2024.
After his return, the rapper sat down for an interview with GQ, but there was no announcement regarding an album release at the time. Now, after almost a year of his return, the rapper has released his fourth studio album, UY Scuti. Sharing the news of his album release along with a new music video, the rapper made a post on social media platforms. In hispostt the rapper wrote, "UY SCUTI out now and the video for “F*****g Told U” too!"

A few hours after the release of his album, the Check rapper took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to address a major issue with the album. He shared the issue of a missed Rod Wave verse on the song "Blaming Jesus." Apologising to Rod Wave fans, the rapper assures listeners that the song will be fixed as soon as possible. Additionally, he mentioned that some of his staff members responsible for the error will be fired in the morning.
"Rod wave had a verse on blaming Jesus and I’m sorry to the fans that my team didn’t put it on the song. Doin some firing in the a.m and the song will be fixed tomorrow -I’m sorry to his fans," Thug wrote in his post.
