Popular actor, model and Bigg Boss OTT season 3 Vishal Padey is in the news after sharing a health update on his social media handles. The actor was involved in a serious incident during a shoot that had him in critical condition, undergoing two surgeries.
Sharing on his Instagram handle, the Bigg OTT season 3 contestant wrote, "Even in this condition I won’t pause. This little setback won’t define me,it’ll fuel me."
Vishal Pandey is an Indian actor, model and a contestant in the Bigg Boss OTT season 3. He gained fame during the Indian TikTok boom, and his popular group, "Teen Tigada," featured Sameeksha Sud and Bhavin Bhanushali.
Vishal Pandey is known among the masses for his viral TikTok videos and other content pieces that the actor shared with his fans. He is also known for featuring in the JioCinema series Lakhan Leela Bhargava starring Ravi Dubey. He shot into popularity after his appearance in the Bigg Boss OTT season 3.
Following his appearance in Bigg Boss OTT, Pandey has also graced the Cannes red carpet in May 2025, and he has also featured in the movie Far Away from Home.
During his time at the Bigg Boss house, Vishal Pandey was involved in a violent incident with fellow housemate Armaan Malik. The former was slapped by Malik after he was accused of passing derogatory remarks towards his wife, Kritika Malik.

In a post shared by the actor on his Instagram, he revealed that he had to undergo two surgeries to save his life after the Bigg Boss contestant was involved in a serious accident on set.
In the post, Pandey shared that he accidentally cut his nerves during a shoot. Sharing his conversation with the doctor, he said that he narrowly escaped death as the artery connecting his heart did not receive any damage during the incident. "If not, half my body could’ve been paralysed," he wrote. "It was nothing but a blessing that saved me," the caption continued.
The actor shared his positive perspective on the incident and shared how he will not allow this incident to stop his momentum. Even after such a serious incident, the actor's smile is still as energetic as ever. Addressing his attitude going forward, he wrote that he is back to full strength and is using this experience as fuel to power him forward.
Concluding his post, the actor wrote, "The sun always rises again. And so will I."
Vishal Pandey has successfully recovered from the horrifying incident on stage and is back to full strength.
