Zubeen Garg's Last Movie Leaves Bollywood Movies Behind

The emotional pull of Garg's last movie has attracted a massive audience for the movie; as a result, the movie has left a couple of Bollywood movies behind in terms of its first two-day collection. This is a landmark moment for regional cinema as the Hindi film industry attracts the most eyeballs in the country. Check the Bollywood movies that lag behind the Zubeen Garg starrer:

Nishaanchi by Anurag Kashyap

Nishaanchi is Anurag Kashyap's crime drama that released in theatres on September 19, 2025. The movie got a lot of marketing push, with Kashyap doing several interviews for the movie. He also claimed that the movie will be a commercial hit, which will get him the box office numbers he is known to lack. However, the movie was a massive box office disaster, failing to live up to expectations. In its theatrical run, the Anurag Kashyap movie only managed to collect ₹1.4 crore, as reported by Sacnilk.

The Taj Story Starring Paresh Rawal

A recently released movie that has sparked a lot of conversation around its plot is the Paresh Rawal starrer The Taj Story. The movie was released on the same day as Roi Roi Binale but is lagging behind Garg's musical drama in two-day collection. Despite having all eyes on it, the Tushar Amrish Goel movie collected ₹2.70 crore in its first two days. On Sunday, the movie lags behind the Assamese movie by almost 1 crore.

Zubeen Garg's Movie Moves Fans To Tears, Garners Positive Reviews

Mounted on a rumoured ₹5 crore budget, the Zubeen Garg starrer is showing promise in terms of its box office collection. The movie is leading in box office collection over movies with a larger audience pool and spotlight, which shows the influence of the late artist. According to reports, the movie has already covered more than half of its production budget, with its day 3 expected to pull similar numbers.

After a 98% and 96% occupancy rate on its first two days, Roi Roi Binale seems to have a lot of untapped potential. Whether the movie can continue its theatrical run with continued consistent footfalls and what more it can achieve at the box office is something to look forward to.
