New OTT Releases This Week: It’s the second weekend of October, and the OTT calendars have a wide array of new releases. There are blockbuster movies, thrillers, and heartbreaking dramas, something for everyone. Here’s your guide to this week’s new OTT releases.

War 2 – Netflix

Highly billed as the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster hit of 2019, War 2 arrived on Netflix this week. Starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani, it’s an action drama that sees secret agent Kabir accused of treason against the country, as his old roommate Vikram has been sent to take him in. With quick-cut set pieces and dramatic showdowns, War 2 offers a good at-home viewing experience.

The Naina Murder Case – JioHotstar

The Naina Murder Case is an Indian thriller drama crime series starring Konkona Sen Sharma as an ACP who has to handle a convoluted case that centres on a dead young woman. Adapted from the popular Danish series The Killing, this thrilling mystery employs strong acting and plot twists.​

Mirai – JioHotstar

Kurukshetra – Netflix

Told as an animated epic, Kurukshetra depicts the Mahabharata’s legendary war in a brand-new light, delving deep into many a legendary character and turning point. Released on Netflix this week, it’s a treat for animation and Indian myth buffs alike.​

The Woman in Cabin 10 – Netflix
