Set years before My Hero Academia, the spin-off series follows Koichi Haimawari, a boy with a humble Quirk that he employs to patrol his neighbourhood under the code name "The Crawler." Along with Knuckleduster, a dark vigilante teacher, and Pop Step, a lively street performer, Koichi must confront underground crime, black-market Quirk sellers, and plots that endanger public order. In contrast to epic battles involving pro-heroes that flash across the screen in mainstream series, the storyline delves into the human aspect of hero work with no less than moral complexities and street justice.
Here's a list of all the main characters in My Hero Academia Vigilantes, along with their voice actors:
Based on the original manga series by Hideyuki Furuhashi with illustrations by Betten Court, My Hero Academia Vigilantes is a spin-off series that acts as a prequel to the original storyline. It is produced by Bones Studio, the same animation studio as the original, which ensures consistency in the series' look and feel. The spin-off expands the universe created by Kohei Horikoshi, adding another layer to the original story by filling in key parts of the backstory.
