Lokah Chapter 1 on Netflix: Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra has been making waves in Indian superhero space by taking over all the attention since its release. The Dominic Arun movie, produced by Dulquer Salmaan under his Wayfarer Films banner, is the start of a Malayalam superhero universe.
The movie stars Kalyani Priyadarshan along with Naslen, Sandy, Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, Nishanth Sagar, Raghunath Paleri, Vijayaraghavan, Nithya Shri and Sarath Sabha. It currently sits as the third-highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025 with ₹46 crore minted at the box office.
Following its box office success, Lokah's OTT release has been in the news. Fans are eager to know when they can watch the Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer from the comfort of their homes. According to multiple reports surfacing online, the rights for the Dominic Arun film have been acquired by the streaming giant Netflix. The reports have not been confirmed by the production house or the streamer.

In a post shared by Wayfarer Films' official social media handles, the production house shared that the Dominic Arun superhero movie starring Kalyani Priyadarshan has grossed over ₹100 crore globally. This makes it the third film from the industry to achieve this feat, on top of being the first female-led superhero movie from the region.

The critical and commercial success of the Malayalam superhero film has garnered praise online. Recently, its producer, Dulquer Salmaan, who also makes an appearance in the movie, announced the Hindi version of the movie. Taking to his social media, the Lucky Bhaskar actor shared the news of the Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer expanding into Hindi cinema.
"The world of Lokah — Chapter One: Chandra, is expanding. Hindi version releases in theatres on September 4th! Book your tickets now," the actor wrote in his post
