BTS member V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, officially completed his mandatory military service on June 10, 2025. He was discharged on the same day as fellow BTS leader RM. Earlier in 2024, rumors had swirled about members of the K-pop girl group NewJeans visiting V during his service. However, neither V nor the group confirmed the news at the time.

Autograph Confirms NewJeans’ Visit

Now, according to AllKPop, those rumors have gained new weight. A fan recently uploaded a photo to an online community showing a handwritten letter and autograph from NewJeans member Haerin. The note was addressed to one of V’s fellow soldiers and read: “Hello, this is NewJeans. Be healthy and happy during your military service, and please take care of our second brother, Taehyung. “The user claimed the autograph was posted by a soldier who had served with V and shared the message as proof of NewJeans’ visit.

V Hints at Surprise for ARMY in August

Since reuniting with BTS, V has thrilled fans by hinting at a special surprise planned for August. During a recent live stream, he teased. “Actually, in August, there will be a little something for ARMYs to see.”

This simple statement sent fans into a frenzy, with many speculating about a potential solo comeback or a new project. V also shared his emotions about reconnecting with fans. “I absolutely miss ARMYs, though. The atmosphere has changed in some way, but if we saw each other at a concert, a music show, or somewhere similar, I think it would be great.”

NewJeans Open to Returning to ADOR  With Conditions

Meanwhile, NewJeans has also been making headlines. The group, consisting of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, is considering returning to their former agency ADOR, but only if certain conditions are met.

During a court hearing, their legal team stated that the girls are not completely opposed to rejoining ADOR. The lawyer said, “It’s not that the members absolutely refuse to return. If ADOR were restored to the state it was when the members first trusted it, they would return even without being asked.”

A closed-door mediation session has been scheduled for August 14. If that fails, the court will make a final ruling on October 30 over a year since the group terminated their contract with the agency.
