BTS member Jung Hoseok, popularly known as J-Hope, thrilled fans with his energetic stage presence at Lollapalooza Berlin on Sunday, July 13. Held at the grand Olympiastadion, his performance became the highlight of the event, and fans haven’t stopped talking about it since.

But it wasn’t just his music that had fans excited. Another major moment from the festival was his heartwarming meeting with IVE, one of the rising stars in the K-pop girl group scene.

J-Hope and IVE Snap Iconic Photo

On Wednesday, July 16, the official Instagram account of IVE posted a now-viral photo featuring J-Hope with all six IVE members Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo. In the image, J-Hope is seen grinning happily with his arms wide open, standing in the center. His pose reminded fans of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s signature arm spread.

The IVE girls surrounded him, all pointing toward him in a playful, cheerful gesture. The caption read, “IVE x J-hope meet at Berlin.” This meeting wasn’t just random it marked a significant moment, as both artists performed at Lollapalooza Berlin.

Stellar Performances by Both Artists

J-Hope, headlining the final day of the festival, performed for a solid 90 minutes. His powerful set featured 21 tracks, combining rap, vocals, and electrifying dance routines. His stage energy lit up the venue and captivated thousands of fans.

Meanwhile, IVE performed the day before, delivering a 55-minute set packed with their hit songs. Their show featured a live band, which added a special touch to their performance. Fans praised the group for their vibrant stage presence and vocal talent.

Now, IVE is getting ready to take the stage again this time at Lollapalooza Paris on Sunday, July 20, at the Longchamp Racecourse.

J-Hope’s Busy Year After Military Discharge

At 31 years old, J-Hope continues to show his commitment to his music and fans. After completing his military service, he took a short break and then returned full force into solo work.

In the first half of 2025, he released three back-to-back singles:

  • Sweet Dreams featuring Miguel

  • Mona Lisa

  • Killin’ It Girl featuring GloRilla

Each track showcased different styles and further cemented his identity as a versatile solo artist.

He also kicked off his first solo tour, titled “Hope on the Stage.” The tour began on February 28 in Seoul and wrapped up on June 14 in Goyang. Along the way, he performed across South Korea, the United States, and several parts of Asia, receiving praise for his charisma and crowd engagement.
