In a fiery post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump demanded the prosecution of Vice President Kamala Harris and several top celebrities where he also accused them of breaking campaign finance laws by allegedly exchanging millions of dollars for political endorsements during the 2024 presidential election. Trump named singer Beyoncé, TV icon Oprah Winfrey, and civil rights activist Al Sharpton as the beneficiaries of these alleged payments he labelled the act “totally illegal” and urged legal action against all involved.

Trump Alleges Millions Paid for Endorsements

Trump alleged that the Democratic Party paid $11 million to Beyoncé for an endorsement, he claimed she never performed and left the stage to boos. He further accused the party of paying $3 million to Oprah for “expenses” and $600,000 to Al Sharpton, whom he mocked as a “lightweight”, Trump insisted these figures were misrepresented in official records and called it a serious violation of campaign finance laws.

He wrote, “You are not allowed to pay for an endorsement. It is totally illegal to do so”, Trump questioned what would happen if politicians began buying public support, saying, “All hell would break out”, he held Harris responsible for the payouts and declared, “Kamala and all of those who received Endorsement money BROKE THE LAW, they should all be prosecuted.”

Trump Defends Himself Amid Epstein File Pressure

Trump’s comments arrive amid renewed attention to his own controversies, particularly regarding the Jeffrey Epstein cashed dismissed the investigation as a politically motivated attack orchestrated by Democrats. “They are playing another Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax,” he said, calling it the “Jeffrey Epstein SCAM.”

He argued Democrats aimed to distract from his presidency’s performance, which he called “the BEST six months in Presidential history.” Trump announced that he directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to work on releasing grand jury testimonies related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. He said the release would bring transparency and put an end to what he calls a “hoax.”

Political War of Accusations Escalates

As the 2024 election fallout continues, Trump’s demands have reignited partisan battles. His accusations against Harris and high-profile figures such as Beyoncé and Oprah have added fresh fuel to debates on money, power, and legality in American politics. Meanwhile, calls for transparency in the Epstein case grow louder from both parties.
