Nina Dobrev and Olympic snowboarder Shaun Whith have ended their engagement. The two had been dating for almost five years and they have decided to end things mutually. The decision was made with respect and love for each other.

Shaun and Nina first met in 2019 at an inspiration night. They developed closer bonds with each other during the COVID-19 in 2020, And in lockdown they became public about their relationship. Shaun proposed during a surprise dinner in New York in October 2024 using a diamond ring that was 5-carat.

Their break-up appears to be recent. Nina was spotted at a Toronto film festival without her engagement ring which made specualtion and she also removed the proposal post on her Instagram.
The break-up has been described as “mutual” and accomplished with “love and respect.” Though difficult, it was something they both decided upon.

The two were always there for each other in the limelight. Nina supported Shaun on his final Winter Olympics in 2022, when they were well known for their classy red-carpet departures and witty holidays.
