Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa made a bold claim during the Reunion episode aired on Monday. When asked about her love life, Huda said she was legally stopped from speaking about it by Netflix.
“I can’t speak on it cause of Netflix,” Huda revealed on the red carpet. She did not explain further but hinted at legal restrictions linked to the streaming platform.
Huda has been linked to musician Louis Russell for months. The two were first spotted holding hands at the Weapons movie premiere on July 31. Fans believed this confirmed their romance soon after Huda ended things with fellow Islander Chris Seeley.

In August, Huda and Louis appeared to soft-launch their relationship on Instagram. Huda shared a snorkeling selfie with Louis on August 17. Later, Louis posted a video where he appeared to hold Huda’s face while his new track She’s Pretty played in the background. Fans were convinced it was her.
However, the couple has not made things “Instagram official” yet.
The narrative took a fresh turn when Huda claimed that Netflix had prohibited her from commenting. Some fans think this might have something to do with Netflix's dating reality show Perfect Match Season 3, in which Louis Russell is said to be a candidate. Since the episode hasn't aired yet, Huda might not be able to provide specifics due to contractual obligations.
Huda’s one-line answer quickly went viral, with fans sharing mixed reactions online.

“So is Huda going on Perfect Match or is she using Netflix as an excuse not to speak when questioned?” another wondered.

Reality TV contestants often sign strict contracts that prevent them from revealing relationship updates before a show airs. If Louis Russell is indeed part of Perfect Match Season 3, it could explain Huda’s silence. Netflix may want to avoid spoilers and keep storylines under wraps.
