Veteran actors Kevin Costner and Jake Gyllenhaal have been confirmed to star in the upcoming film Honeymoon with Harry, with Glenn Ficarra and John Requa set to direct, The Hollywood Reporter revealed. The screenplay is penned by acclaimed writer Dan Fogelman.

The film has been in development since 2004 and is adapted from an unpublished novel by Bart Baker. The story follows a man, played by Gyllenhaal, who decides to go on a honeymoon with his prospective father-in-law, portrayed by Costner, after his fiancée tragically dies two days before their wedding.

Dan Fogelman, known for his work on acclaimed films and television series, is producing Honeymoon with Harry alongside Mike Karz of Gulfstream Pictures, bringing years of storytelling experience and production expertise to the project.
