Justin Trudeau's visit to Katy Perry's Lifetimes Tour show on July 30 in Montreal has raised speculations regarding the duo's relationship. Justin Trudeau's attendance of the concert is reported to have followed just days after being seen having dinner with the Roar singer at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal, according to TMZ.
Photos and videos from the Bell Centre of Justin Trudeau having a good time at the Lifetimes Tour can be seen. The 53-year-old, wearing a black top, was seen singing along to hits such as Roar and Firework by Perry. Page Six reported that Trudeau's 16-year-old daughter Ella-Grace also attended the concert.
Social media users were quick to react to the clips. “justin trudeau knowing the words to katy perry’s songs meanwhile orlando bloom wanted her to retire… THE UPGRADE,” one person wrote. “The way Justin Trudeau looks at Katy Perry during her show!!! Oh he is in love!!!” another added.
The couple has not officially made any statement about the issue. Speculations of the relationship started following viral pictures of Trudeau and Perry's intimate "dinner date.".
Though, Danny Smiles, co-executive chef and co-owner of the restaurant, informed TMZ that Trudeau and the Firework singer seemed like just two friends sharing a meal. Trudeau was also seen strolling with a dog in a Montreal park with Perry.
The then-Canadian PM made the announcement of his separation from wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau back in 2023. The two share three children-Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien.
At the same time, the California Gurls singer broke up with Orlando Bloom after years of dating earlier this month. The two still co-parent their daughter, Daisy Dove.
