Taylor Swift's highly anticipated wedding to fiancé Travis Kelce is already being referred to as the "wedding of the year," but according to reports, one A-list friend might not receive an invitation: actor Blake Lively.
The Daily Mail reports that the two stars' friendship thawed following Blake's mention of Taylor's name in her court documents against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. An insider shared with the publication, "This is something that we would've discussed in the past, like what was going to happen, if she was going to be in the wedding, what that would look like. All of that. But now, it's just silence. There's no 'will she or won't she' about Blake being in the wedding, because she just won't. She is aware of that, and I don't believe she really wants to discuss that."

Media reports indicate Taylor has not returned Blake's efforts to reestablish contact, and Blake has gradually ceased doing so. The pop icon is said to be concentrating on her life with Kelce personally, and Blake has apparently come to accept the break and move on.
In spite of the tension between the two parties, People cites that Taylor is still willing to testify in a deposition in the current case if subpoenaed, although she has no connection whatsoever with Blake or Justin. The conflict was caused by Blake's move to include Taylor in her legal strategy without the singer having anything to do with the issue.
Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni goes to trial on March 9, 2026, in New York. Until then, there is speculation about whether the one-time BFFs can get back together, or if Blake's no-show at Taylor's wedding is as good as a done deal.
