Taylor Swift sparked buzz at Arrowhead as fans claimed she used a ₹5 lakh bulletproof shield.
Taylor Swift has once again become the center of attention, not for her new album or music video this time but, for her unusual entry at Arrowhead Stadium to support fiancé Travis Kelce.. Over the weekend, the superstar was seen sneaking behind a huge rolling shield that numerous people suspect was bulletproof.
As opposed to her typical game-day entrances, where television cameras record her walking into the VIP suite confidently, Swift made it very clandestine. Footage appearing online displayed security personnel pushing a large, mobile partition through the stadium corridors. Most fans theorized the portable shield was employed to cover and shield the pop sensation.
The partition is reportedly valued at almost ₹5 lakh and is bullet- and other external hazard-proof. Although no confirmation has been made regarding if Swift was present or not, fans in general believe her team took added precautions for safety as concerns about celebrity safety have been increasing.
The speculation follows the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Kirk was shot dead on stage, and authorities subsequently arrested Tyler Robinson for the assassination. Although the event did not bear a direct connection to Swift, fans fast linked her guarded entrance to the charged atmosphere around public figures and their security.
While Swift's barrier-protected entrance made headlines, it did not equate to win for the Kansas City Chiefs. The team lost 20-17, their second straight loss on the season. Nevertheless, the unconventional security precaution had Swifties abuzz on the internet, overshadowing even the game's result.
Away from the security speculation, Taylor recently spoke about her relationship with Travis Kelce on the New Heights podcast hosted by Travis and his brother Jason. She revealed that Chiefs head coach Andy Reid may have played matchmaker between the two.
“Whatever Andy Reid says, we’re gonna stand by,” Taylor laughed, explaining that her father Scott Swift has been longtime friends with Reid.
"I hadn't a clue what sport he was coaching, but I recognized him as Dad's friend Andy Reid. Now I know he's one of the greatest coaches of all time," she said.
