The Jonas Brothers started off their 20th anniversary tour  on August 10, Sunday. The show was held at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Fans favorite Kevin, Nick and Joe surprised the audience by revisiting their Disney past as they paid a tribute to the 2008 move 'Camp Rock'.

Joe Jonas, known for the role of pop star Shane Gray in the movie, performed 'Gotta Find You' and introduced his former Camp Rock co-star, Demi Lovato, on the stage. Lovato played the role of Mitchi Torres in the film.

They performed the hit songs, including 'This is Me' and 'Wouldn't Change a Thing' from the movie, together. After performing 'This is Me', Joe said that they hadn't performed the song in 'almost a decade', to which Demi responded with a quirky remark, 'might have been longer'.

The other brothers, Kevin and Nick were also a part of the film. They were the members of the band 'Connect Three', playing Jason and Nate. Nick also recalled how his dad helped the boys land the role after Joe got one.

A Family Celebration

The reunion was shared by Demi's husband, Jorden 'Jutes' Lutes. He posted the video of her walking on the stage with the captain, “Couldn’t be more proud … I love u sooo much baby.”

The Jonas family, including parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas, younger brother Frankie, along with Kevin's wife Danielle and their daughters Alena and Valentina also joined the brothers on stage. Together, they performed 'When You Look Me in the Eyes', a popular song from the movie.

On 20 Years of Music

A few days earlier to the show, the brothers talked about how they made the song selection for the show on The Tonight Show. Kevin said, “The setlist is hard to build, right? But at the same time it's so fun because we do get to take breaks and admire each other's work at the same time.” Joe joked, “And pee breaks mostly.”

Nick expressed his excitement saying that he can's believe the band has been around 20 years. “It's hard to believe” the band has been around for 20 years, and summed up the tour as a representation of their journey, featuring “songs that are relevant to us and those steps in our career,” he said.
