The budget of One Battle After Another has not been officially revealed. Industry estimates place the budget between $130 million and $175 million, the highest for Anderson to date, more than previous efforts such as There Will Be Blood, which had a budget of $25 million.
Spanning decades, One Battle After Another is about a set of retired 1960s activists. The narrative revolves around Bob, who lives underground with his daughter Willa until an old nemesis, Col. Steven J. Lockjaw, returns, causing a high-stakes reunion packed with action and old scores.
