Nuremberg is an upcoming historical drama directed by James Vanderbilt. The movie is based on the 2012 book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai. It follows Douglas Kelley, an American psychologist who is tasked to decide whether Adolf Hitler's right-hand man, Hermann Göring, is mentally fit to stand at the Nuremberg trials. Set in 1945 after Göring's arrest, Nuremberg puts a spotlight on the infamous Nuremberg trials, where notorious Nazi officials were held accountable for their crimes against humanity.
