Paul Wesley, known for his role in The Vampire Diaries, is now engaged to his girlfriend, model Natalie Kuckenburg. Instead of making a big announcement, the couple chose to share the news in a quiet and stylish way.
The engagement became public when Kuckenburg posted a black-and-white photo on Instagram. The image showed their hands together, clearly displaying her engagement ring. She captioned it with just a few heartfelt words, “Yes. Always and forever.”
The post received a flood of congratulations from fans, friends, and followers.
Wesley, 41, and Kuckenburg, 25, recently took a romantic trip across Italy, visiting places like Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast. The engagement is believed to have happened during this getaway. Wesley shared a moment from the vacation on Instagram, calling it “a beautiful time,” and Kuckenburg responded, “The best time!!”
The couple has been together since at least late 2022, when they were first spotted dining together in Italy. Since then, they’ve kept their relationship mostly private, occasionally sharing sweet moments online.
On Valentine’s Day, Kuckenburg referred to Wesley as her “soulmate”, to which he replied with heart emojis. In June, Wesley posted a birthday message calling her his “favorite person.”
Though they don't share many public details, Wesley spoke about their bond earlier this year in an interview with People.
“All we do is laugh. It is the most important thing, honestly,” he said, highlighting the joy and humor that define their relationship.
Wesley was previously married to Ines de Ramon, but they finalized their divorce in early 2024. While the couple hasn’t shared any plans for a wedding date yet, fans believe the celebration will likely be private and intimate, just like their engagement.
