OTT calendars are buzzing with the news of fresh movies and TV shows releasing on OTT. With the audience waiting for these releases, ranging from highly anticipated theatrical releases to new dramas, here is the list of all the new OTT releases of this week.
After dominating the box office for weeks, the Rajinikanth starrer Coolie is finally making its OTT debut. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie, starring the Thalaivar in the lead role, hit theatres in August to a positive reception and big numbers. The film centres around a Coolie (Rajinikanth) who takes on a mission to uncover the mystery behind his friend's passing, discovering much darker secrets in the process.
Coolie premieres on Prime Video on September 11th.

Another box office phenomenon drops on OTT this week. Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, was released in July and minted over ₹500 crores on a ₹50 crore budget. Starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, its story revolves around a troubled musician (played by Ahaan Panday) who falls in love with a shy poet (played by Aneet Padda).
Saiyaara will be available for streaming on Netflix from September 12th.
A fresh release coming to your screens this week is the Archit Kumar and Collin D’Cunha directorial comedy drama series Do You Wanna Partner. Starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty, the series follows two friends who are looking to launch their craft beer brand in a space often dominated by men.
Do You Wanna Partner will premiere on Prime Video on 12th September

The popular murder mystery, Only Murders in the Building, also makes a return to OTT with its fifth season. Created by Steve Martin & John Hoffman, the series follows three strangers (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) who are crime podcast enthusiasts. The series develops as the three become friends, while following while investigating murders, they then decide to start their own podcast, "Only Murders in the Building," documenting their investigation.
Only Murders in the Building Season 5 premieres on JioHotstar on 9th September.
Representing regional cinema on OTT is J. P. Thuminad's comedy drama Su From So. The movie was released in July and went on to become a box office phenomenon by minting ₹125 crore on a ₹5.5 crore budget. Starring Shaneel Gautham, J. P. Thuminad, and Sandhya Arakere, the movie centres around Ashoka, a young man who is misunderstood as a possessed person, leading to a series of hilarious events.
Su From So premieres on Jio Hotstar on September 10th.

Task is a crime drama series created by Brad Ingelsby starring Mark Ruffalo, Tom Pelphrey, and Emilia Jones, among others. It follows an FBI agent from Philadelphia, played by Mark Ruffalo, who is put in charge of stopping violent robberies committed by an unsuspecting-looking family man.
Task premieres on JioHotstar from 8th September.
